WELCOME TO UNMASKING LAFAYETTE!

Unmasking Lafayette is a local, not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) organization committed to our goal of “Unmasking” social issues in our community. In today’s society, there are many people in need that are not recognized. There are issues within our community that are not discussed because they are considered “sensitive,” “personal,” or “taboo.” Mental health, hunger, homelessness, domestic violence, and veteran suicide are just a few of the issues that we hope to “Unmask.”

Our goal is to work towards bringing these issues, and others, to the forefront of our conversations and foster awareness. Our Annual Masquerade Ball is just one way we work towards spreading awareness to these under-served and under-discussed issues, as well as raise money to provide support to the organizations that are working to assist those dealing with such issues in our community.
